The difference between version 4.1 and 4.2(4.22) is reflected in the following updates. It's not a major update but it's important to its functionality.

A Sokkia dealer told me that it is possible to transfer information from a Sokkia total station to a computer, but I can't find a program for this job. Can you tell me what software and communication cable do I need? I have a Mac computer.

Unfortunately, the only software available are SDR data transfer and Spectrum Link which are developed to run only on Windows computers. However, you can try installing them using CrossOver, a utility that allows you to run Windows programs on Mac without a Windows OS license. Also, you can use Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox. These tools let you run Windows or other operating system within Mac OS X. In order to connect the device to your Mac, you will need only a simple Sokkia USB cable.
